The research result of ĐDH102-293 cashew line in the south central coast and central highland

ABSTRACT

The results of the growth and development of ĐDH102-293 cashew line from 32 to 54 months (2004-2010), on some sub-regions of some provinces of the South Central Coast and Central Highland state: ĐDH102-293 line with high growth and yield, from 200.0 to 1400.0 kg/ha (200 kg/ha in 32 months, 520.3 kg/ha in 40 months and 1400 kg/ha in 54 months). The number of nuts per kg are from 144.8 to 162.2 nuts, the percentage of kernels of 29.5 - 29.7, meet the requirements of the export processing. In particular, the ĐDH102-293 cashew line was in the period of flower bud differentiation, flowering and young fruits in the experimental area, but at lower levels of helopeltis and anthranose damage.
